Description:

The Nechako Environmental Enhancement Fund Society (NEEFS) is pleased to continue supporting the University of Northern British Columbia's Integrated Watershed Research Group (IWRG) through Phase 4 of its collaborative Nechako Watershed research program.

Building on more than a decade of interdisciplinary watershed research, Phase 4 will focus on collecting baseline environmental information in advance of the proposed Ne Too Water Release Facility Project. Research activities will improve understanding of watershed processes, aquatic ecosystems, climate interactions, and environmental conditions within the Nechako Watershed, supporting informed decision-making and long-term watershed stewardship.

The Integrated Watershed Research Group brings together researchers from multiple disciplines to advance watershed science and strengthen understanding of environmental change through collaborative research and knowledge sharing.
